On-Demand Logistics

Fast. Flexible. Everything you need. Nothing that you don't.

Why use On-Demand vs Contract Pricing?

Sometimes businesses don't have consistent shipping volume. If you don't have enough volume, or you can't predict it's timing, that often means you're not a good fit for contract pricing.

Alternatively, some businesses who have contract pricing, but their contract providers don't have capacity for an unexpected shipment or a sudden surge in demand may need a quick answer to ship. That's where On-Demand shines. It's flexible, you're not locked into a contract so you can pay for exactly what you need and nothing that you don't. Whatever the case, when contracts aren't for you, our on-demand team stands ready to ship your orders.

How does it work?

If you're a business who needs flexibility in your transportation of products, then On-Demand Logistics by Legacy is the right choice for you. We can fill Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) or TruckLoad (TL) orders.

From the moment we receive your request, we work to get the shipment picked up. Since Legacy logistics operates its own fleet of trucks, it's common for us to haul your shipment directly. However, if we can't haul your shipment directly, our in-house brokerage team will get your shipment picked up by the next best available hauler to make sure you get the service you need at the best price. Since our in-house brokerage team has such a high level of experience and relationships throughout the industry, we're often able to find you a better price and faster service than you can on your own. That's the Legacy Advantage.

Customer trends have changed the way we think about supply chain. From shortened delivery windows to the rise of e-commerce, the customer is demanding more products in more places with less notice. That's where On-Demand Logistics shines.
